Danica Patrick Races in Nascar Nationwide Series

Danica Patrick raced in her second NASCAR Nationwide Series race Saturday at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana. She struggled finishing near the back of the pack.
Eventual race winner Kyle Busch (car 18) bumps under second place finisher Greg Biffle (car 27) entering the final lap in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Auto Club Speedway Stater Bros. 300 in Fontana, California on Saturday, February 20, 2010

yeh i think the PR spin will die down once she delivers some 'middle place' results.

still drives better than 99.99% of the population though do pull your head in naysayers.

Will the world one day see a female win the NASCAR race for the first time in history?

Danica Patrick is on a mission to make that dream a reality.

Not many 27 year olds can brag about winning an Indy car race, which she did back in 2008 at the Indy Japan 300. She represents GoDaddy.com along with being a model and an advertising spokeswoman.

After Patrick finished 31st in Saturday’s Stater Bros 300 at Auto Club Speedway she stormed off, obviously disappointed with her results and appeared 15 minutes later to voice her opinion in which she said,

“I’m a competitor and I’m used to running up front,” she said. “So it’s shocking when you’re that far back. But you know what? This is a whole new ball of wax for me, and it’s all different. And I have to disconnect from the results for quite some time, I think, because they’re probably not going to be what I’m used to.”

I have a feeling that the next time we see Danica Patrick, she’ll be passing cars left and right as she makes her way to the front of the pack.
