Wildfire in Ventura County / Moorpark Area
A brush fire broke out today in Ventura County amid red flag warning conditions. Fire officials named it the Guiberson Fire , and it burned from near the Fillmore area down to the northern section of Moorpark where I made these photos this afternoon including some ranch hands at an avocado ranch trying to put out the fire with tree branches, something I'd never seen before. They did a good job! The winds laid down as the afternoon progressed helping out the firefighters. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that the fire started by spontaneous combustion of manure, wow.

That's crazy - it seems like it's going to be a fire-y summer in CA this wildfire season.
Great photos.
