Last week I visited the studio of Los Angeles based fashion designer Juan Carlos Obando as he and his team were in final preparations on their intricate Spring 2010 collection for Fashion Week in NYC. The photos helped illustrate this
Washington Post story . Juan Carlos and his crew were super chill, and the vibe in the studio is peaceful, clean, and very creative. Relaxing tunes playing and nice available light in older building near Koreatown. They have a technique using an airbrush on the textiles that looks amazing in person, the photos don't do it justice.
