I received a call for a last minute shoot to illustrate a WSJ story on the LA River the other day, not the ideal photo conditions, mid-day sun and all, shot some generic stuff and not much activity going on at all. But then I got lucky as my deadline was approaching, I spotted Marine Hoffman and her horse "Contador" coming down the path. Mission accomplished.
