Pasadena Bridge

The "Colorado Street Bridge" in my hometown of Pasadena was built in 1913. Apparently Colorado Blvd was formerly called Colorado Street. During the Great Depression in the 1930's the bridge was referred to as "Suicide Bridge". Definitely one of the more picturesque bridges in So Cal.

I live in Pasadena, not far from this bridge and I take photos of it all the time... it changes with the weather. Just recently, the Pasadena Heritage society held a "celebration of the bridge" with food and music on the bridge, and it was a fantastic, rare opportunity to get up close with the details of this great old structure.

Great photo.
