Had a gig photographing a basketball camp by hoops star Baron Davis , the newest member of the Los Angeles Clippers and former UCLA point guard, over the weekend. The camp was held at his high school
alma mater Crossroads Academy in Santa Monica. As a way of giving back to the community, Baron founded
Rising Stars of America , a non-profit organization which is directed by Daryl Roper, head basketball coach , teacher and mentor at
Crossroads Academy.
The young campers were excited to be tutored by the NBA star, and were excited when they got to have a Q&A session with him. There is
definitely a buzz among LA hoops fans with Baron coming home to play for the Clippers this season.
