California Recovering From Record Drought

Hillsides pictured off Highway 41 near Cambria and Morro Bay are covered with green grass as California recovers from years of drought conditions. 

California Highway 1 to Big Sur Closed at Ragged Point

California Highway 1 is closed at Ragged Point in Big Sur due to the closure of the Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge. During heavy rains in February, a mudslide weakened one of the massive cement columns that supports the bridge which will now have to be demolished and rebuilt. Homeless in Los Angeles - Skid Row

I recently spent a day photographing Skid Row and one of the missions that help the homeless in Los Angeles. Reports indicate that on any given day there are approximately 47,000 homeless in the area and the number seems to be growing.
