Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez Hosts Ready OC Event
Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-47) was the host at Ready OC's Emergency Preparedness Day event at Anaheim Marketplace on Saturday. Despite the sweltering weather, she was in great spirits as she spoke how to be prepared for emergencies and natural disasters, held a raffle for emergency preparedness kits, and happily modeled a t-shirt presented to her by the Ready OC crew.

Fred Davis - Advertising Wizard of the GOP
Last week, I spent a couple days photographing the super creative Fred Davis as he worked on a political ad for U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina. Mr Davis is the advertising wizard for GOP candidates including John McCain, Carly Fiorina, and former President George W. Bush among many others. His political campaign commercials are like none other you've probably ever seen.
The first day was spent on a sound stage in Hollywood shooting an future ad for Carly Fiorina. The following day I spent at his office in the Hollywood Hills while he worked answering hundreds of emails, took conference calls, all the while being most cordial and entertaining to his guests working on a profile story for The Washington Post. I can say it was a most enjoyable and memorable shoot.
