Shares of Tesla Motors Surge

I went to the Tesla Motors dealership in Los Angeles for some photos to coincide with Bloomberg's coverage of Tesla's IPO today. Shares of the company surged over 40% today. These electric vehicles are truly amazing, I got a quick ride in a Tesla Roadster Sport, 0-60 MPH in 3.7 seconds, what a ride! And the best part, no dinosaur fossil fumes.

Summer Solstice - Venice Beach

Summer officially began today as the summer solstice occurred. I walked out on Venice Beach around sunset time to soak in the late rays on the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere! More info on the summer solstice here

Gov. Schwarzenegger Attends Pro Israel Rally in LA

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger got a warm greeting from Rabbi Marvin Heir of the Museum of Tolerance today as a large crowd of supporters turned out for a pro Israel rally in front of the Israeli Consulate on Wilshire Blvd Today. Wilshire was totally shut down for traffic in the immediate area. Michele Bachmann, R- Minn., a favorite of the Tea Party and politically conservative actor Jon Voight also attended the rally.

King Kong 3D Ride Publicity Stunt in Santa Monica

Universal Studios publicity tour for their new King Kong 3D ride designed by Peter Jackson hit the beach just north of the Santa Monica Pier today. The ride is scheduled to open at Universal Studios Tour on the 4th of July.
