After holding a rally, protesters once again marched from West Hollywood to Hollywood and Highland after the California Sate Supreme Court upheld Proposition 8 banning same-sex marriage.The LAPD estimated the march included about roughly 3,500 to 5,000 people.

Dangerous Santa Barbara Jesusita Fire

The wildfire burning in Santa Barbara named the Jesusita fire exploded late this afternoon when the "sundowner" winds picked up. Many homes were lost despite a valiant firefighting effort.
